The new poker room opened during the very busy Memorial Day long weekend in May and in traditional Wynn style it is very luxurious. There are many games available along with a full selection of food and entertainment. Overall the new poker room setup appears to be a success and operating smoothly. The location in the Encore side of the very large hotel and casino property which is on the North end of the strip in Las Vegas.
The new poker room is approximately 8,600 square feet and has 28 tables available. The maximum person occupancy is 534 in the room and it is very popular on the weekends. The tables are brand new while the chairs have been reupholstered. There is a high limit room in the back which is a quiet area that features super intense gambling action nightly.
Poker players are able to sign-up for a Red Card and receive $1.50 per hour in the food credit. The food is delicious and the Red Card program appears to work very well.

The easiest and quickest way to access the new poker room is via the North entrance by the Beach Club. It is very convenient and safe to walk to the property when entering via the North entrance from Las Vegas Boulevard. There are security guards at every entrance and most walking path junctions at the very deluxe property.
A wide selection of food is available from two of the restaurants Wazuzu and Jardin. Players can also visit the café to pickup food to bring to the poker room. There is a variety of options to choose from and the food is refined with quality ingredients by experienced chefs.
Dedicated cleaning staff are stationed in the poker room which appears to be keeping the area very clean. Keeping the poker room clean is a challenge and only some casinos such as the Wynn succeed in this challenge. During the first week of operation, it was observed that the poker room and washrooms are constantly being cleaned which makes it a very nice place to play.
The Wynn Hotel and Casino features a wide section of artwork and entertaining displays for visitors to enjoy. The artwork on display at the Wynn property is impressive and very well done. There are also water fountains and music that combine to produce a nice family friendly experience. Simply walking around the property to and from the new poker room is an enjoyable experience where players can enjoy the various displays.
The new poker room at the Wynn Hotel and Casino is highly recommended. There is good action, friendly players, accommodating staff and a wide selection of games types to choose from. The poker room is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This poker room is considered to be one of the best in Las Vegas and continues the Wynn tradition of luxury combined great customer service.
