The Kahala Hotel & Resort

I spent 8 nights at the resort with my husband for our honeymoon. It was not quite in the central of Hawaii, but we were glad about that. The downtown of Hawaii to us was only an urban city filled with franchised restaurants, duty-free shops and tourism stores. Kahala shuttled guests back and forth to the downtown with their bus shuttle ride every 15/ half hour depending on the time of the day. My husband and I enjoyed having the luxury breakfast buffet (we woke up late, so it turned out to be early lunch for us, breakfast ended at noon) by the shore every morning. We were surprised to witness at least two weddings everyday at the resort.
